Graham Heaney is an electric and double bass player from Dublin. In 2014 he received an Honours Degree in Jazz performance from Newpark Music College Dublin.
Graham has performed with acts such as Loah, Glen Hansard, Mundy, Richie Egan (Jape), Ralph Rolle (Chic), Fedah, Trinity Orchestra, Dublin Youth Big Band, Interskalatic and Attention Bebe as well as playing regularly with Túcan, Good Times Event Band, Tea for Three, The Tiny Quartet, The Amazing Few and The Candidates among others.
He has appeared on RTE's Saturday Night Show on many occasions with acts including Bonnie Tyler, Tony Christie and Mark Feehily, in addition to performing on RTE's The Hit with Finbar Furey and at TEDx Dublin. He has also performed in numerous shows such as Stillorgan Musical Society's production of Hair and worked as a tutor on the Cavan Music Project.
Graham has performed in many venues across the UK and Ireland including Vicar Street, The Bórd Gais Energy Theatre and The O2 Arena along with numerous festival appearances such as Electric Picnic, Cork Jazz Festival, Body and Soul, Life Festival, Castlepalooza, and Féile na Bealtaine to name a few.
Along with many freelance projects Graham currently composes music for and leads his own group Doubtlands.
